ANKOM XT10 Extractor Image result for ankom xt15

SKU: XT10 | XT10I

The ANKOMXT10 Extractor provides an Official Procedure for efficient and economical solvent extractions. The ANKOMXT10 Extractor has been subjected to rigorous testing over a broad range of sample types. Fat ranges from 0% to 100% have been determined using this procedure.

Samples are placed into filter bags which prevent sample transfer error. Filter bags serve to simplify handling and enable batch processing. The XT10 automatically recycles solvent and makes it ready for reuse. Solvent is manually added after each extraction.  If using solvents such as diethylether please ask about seal upgrades.

  • Official Crude Fat Procedure – AOCS Am 5-04
  • Low Cost & Easy-to-use
  • Up to 100 Extractions per day
  • Solvent Recovery at a rate of ~90%
  • Microprocessor Controlled with LCD Readout
  • Filter Bag Technology
  • Small Footprint

Application and Information

The ANKOM XT10 Extractor provides an Official Procedure for efficient and economical solvent extractions. The ANKOMXT10 Extractor has been subjected to rigorous testing over a broad range of sample types. Fat ranges from 0% to 100% have been determined using this procedure.

The XT10’s low cost provides an affordable high-volume solution. Batch processing allows for the extraction of up to fifteen samples at a time and up to 100 samples per day. A process temperature of 90°C accelerates extraction kinetics, reducing most extraction times to under 40 minutes.  If using solvents such as diethylether please ask about seal upgrades.

Samples are placed into filter bags which prevent sample transfer error. Filter bags serve to simplify handling and enable batch processing. The XT10 automatically recycles solvent and makes it ready for reuse. Solvent is manually added after each extraction.

Please see the operators manual for details on the procedures for various sample classifications.
